People you should really follow on Pinterest

There aren’t many ways to locate users on Pinterest.

Currently, you can do the following:

- Connect your Facebook and Twitter friends and followers to see who is using

- Click on your friends’ lists to see who they’re following

- Look in your stream to see who your friends are re-pinning

- Click on a hashtag

- Search in the upper left of the screen

(It just isn’t easy.)

So I’m here to help!

There are some amazingly creative people doing great work and you should really be following them. (Please feel free to leave a link to your board in the comments after this post – I’d love to follow you!)

Thanks for your article. I checked out the people you suggested and some of them are pretty cool. I’m impressed at how many followers they have. I think my boards are more interesting, though. Just saying. I do a lot of repins but I do my own research as well. And have a ton of fun doing it. I don’t have much in the way of DIY, though I read them avidly. I don’t have wedding or cooking or clothing, though I do love to cook. What I do have is lots of ephemera, art, art inspiration, a smattering of Dr. Who fangirl stuff and some tech goodies, and sure, some links to my own product. But mostly I’m a collector, a curator, a culture generalist and I love to share ideas. http://pinterest.com/smallequals/

  3. We made a list of pinners to follow on Pinterest: http://www.pinnerstofollow.com that includes brands, celebs, tastemakers and just awesome pinners. Would love to see Pinterest build a tool like this into the site.
